Highlights of the contract include: UUP has been without a new contract since July 1, 2016. “Our goal was to secure a fair and equitable contract for all of our members, and the strong approval of this contract shows that our members believe that we met that goal,” Kowal said. Did you know that just because you're in the UUP Negotiating Unit, that doesn't necessarily mean that you're a member -- until you sign the card. Membership gives you the right to vote on the contract, run for office and participate in Union events (including the super-aweome Annual UUP Clambake). Not sure if you're a member?
